A monstrous week! From Cloverfield to monster primary campaigns, not to mention the monstrous problem with the economy. The scariest thing isn’t that the economy’s sick … it’s that the government’s playing doctor! Uncle Jay explains the government’s “stimulus” plan to make our economy as secure as our borders.

How come Congress gets paid that much for basically not doing anything? I mean three days a week for that much money, thats a LOT. I even know one place where law enforcement doesn’t do anything but take people’s stuff, and it could be a 90% chance it’s the wrong house, and eat donuts.

I guess I am a “bad” American. I have placed my “George Bush” dollars into a savings account. Is that bad for the economy? Oh, I first gave 10% in a tithe to my church. Is that bad for the economy?

Uncle Jay:
Love your stuff!!
I’ve always been curious why:
1) The Pres is limited to *2* terms, but Congress is UNLIMITED. Why?
2) In business an incompetent nincompoop is fired. Why can’t we fire our Pres?
3) Why are Presidential candidates lambasted for stuff they did 10+ years ago. I’d hate for any of my silly mis-deeds to be held up for scrutiny now that I’m old, have sense & am more mature.
4) Is the world really warming … or is it just a theory? Is CO2 the culprit — or is it all of the gas engines burning fuel (making heat) 24X7 around the globe?
5) What will happen if we all convert to electric cars & all plug in to recharge @ once?
Keep Up The Good (& Very Funny) Work !!

matt

Matt:
1. The Presidential limit amendment (the 22nd) was passed by the Republican Congress in 1946 - they were annoyed that FDR had smashed them in four straight elections.
2. The Prez can’t be fired for being stupid.
3. Because in the US issues aren’t as important as finding something embarassing about soemone else.
4. The world is only warming if you feel warm
5. Good question — probably it would blow all the lightbulbs on the Christmas trees.
